Lake Wright Patman Winners

The day of the tournament was tough. We fished on a hunch based off the weather and water conditions and it paid off. We caught our fish on crankbaits using the current and bait movement to dial in the bite. The bite was tough and timing played a big part in it. The fish would bite when they came through, so being in the right place at the right time was key. The day got special when we dialed in exactly what presentation the fish wanted, and found the fish holding in a small area.

The team of Noah Sanders - Cason Ragsdale from Winnsboro won with 11.91.

It is the goal of the Texas High School Bass Association to provide a venue where high school students have the opportunity to compete in organized tournaments while establishing strict guide lines and academic standards that will allow our student anglers to excel in the class room and on the lake.
